Overnight Ratings - In The Name Of The Brother
|
|
Bad news for Once Upon A Time this week as strong competition from the AFC Championship sent ratings plummetting to a series low.
"In The Name Of The Brother' pulled in 7.7 million viewers, scoring a 2.4 in the 18-49 Demographic, a decline of almost 14%.
With strong football competition, ABC was no doubt expecting this and the show now goes into a 3 week break while big rating events such as the Super Bowl play out over the coming weeks.
It is likely that figures will increase considerably once the DVR final ratings are counted in 7 days.

So to all those who complained there was no Once on the Superbowl... THIS is why. You don't go against tradition no matter how much the show rocks! but i agree i think they did do pretty well despite it going against football!
Considering the NFL grabbed 41 million viewers and a 14.6 in the demo, I think Once held up alright. I was expecting a drop and I was prepared. But I am more worried about the next episode, 3 weeks off and back against the Grammys, I think the ratings will drop lower. But Once does tend to rebound after drops, so hopefully come March the ratings will be back up in the 8 million mark and around a 3.0 in the demo.
