Once Upon A Fan

In the advertisment for the OUaT marathon next Sunday they showed some peeks from upcoming episodes. There was of course Rumples shots, but also one of Red in a gothic version of her faery tale outfit. I can't think of any other reason she would be there except for an episode centered on her and her grandmother.

PS - Gareth, I would love it if you or someone else could get me a pic of her in her gothic outfit.

I did get a screen shot of it but it turned out really blurry. I will try it again. The one I got would not make a very good art pic...

You all know I'm getting ready! It's going to be epic in the colour of red!

I believe it will be episode 10 if I'm correct.

I just can't wait to see how they develop the Ruby character! She certainly doesn't appear "innocent" back at the Storybrooke diner, so I'm curious to see what twist they put on the Little Red Riding Hood tale we are so familiar with. Perhaps she's going to show the big bad wolf some teeth after all! The female characters in this show all seem rather empowered, so it will be fun to watch Ruby's journey, too : )

She looks so awesome in her old fashioned outfit. Can't wait!

Her outfit looks AMAZING!!! Looking forward to actual dialogue too! yay! Finally a moment for her to shine a bit.

You all make me feel so good! I haven't run into a lot of people who are interested in Ruby/Red Riding Hood and focus on the other main characters more than her! I too can't wait to see this Sunday's episode with a splash smidge of White and Red together! Her outfit really suits her wonderfully!

Check out Ruby's pics in "Skin Deep." In the mode of hitting on anything that moves, it looks like Snow White is being hunted.

Ruby/Red Riding Hood is my absolute favorite character. Everytime she comes on whether she has a line or not I smile. I love seeing this girl. I cant wait for her to get her own episode.

With Rumpie's hand in everything that goes on, I feel like he'll play a part in her story?  Parhaps as the one who gets her out of the wolf (if they take that route) through a deal?  That or maybe Garahm will be back in teh Fairy Tale half?

I'm beginning to get the feeling that Red's episode will tell how she and White met up and will be a mash-up of their individual stories and Rose-Red and Snow-White.

HA! We've now seen in the show that Ruby is of...shall we say, loose moral fiber.

This was my favorite episode. The interaction between Snow and Red was so cute.

"Are you stealing our eggs?"

"No- not a lot."

Then later as they're trying to track the wolf:

"How about that?"

"That's a dog. See how small the tracks are? Don't look where the snow drifts, it covers tracks."

"Hey, over here."

"That- is a rabbit."

Aso had Ruby give the line that still cracks me up "And you dress like Norman Bates when he dresses like Norman Bates's mother!"

It had a good story too, very tragic and left a lot of questions. I hope to learn more about Red and Granny in season 2, and maybe about Red's grandfather.
