Cast & Crew Projects
Many members of the amazing OUAT cast and crew have been hard at work on other films, series, and interesting projects, including several wonderful fundraisers. Why not check out their current or future projects and get involved in one or more worthy causes? We have compiled a list of projects and causes with links (when available), alphabetically by last name.
Support the arts and, in keeping with OUAT's message of hope, help make this world a better place. We will update this list about once a month. Please comment below if you come across any other projects and provide release dates and websites, if available. Don't forget to also check out their many past projects. Patti Allan, Cast (Witch in The Thing You Love Most/Miss Ginger) - will play Gale in It's Christmas, Carol!, a film that will be released in November 2012 about a heartless publishing executive who is visited by the ghost of her former boss.
Tony Amendola, Cast (Geppetto/Marco) - plays Basil in The Son of an Afghan Farmer, a film released in 2012 that can be viewed for free on the film’s website about a young Afghan man who attends school in California and returns to Afghanistan to tend to the family farm; plays Edouard Kagame in Continuum, a Showcase TV series about a detective from 2077 who finds herself trapped in present day Vancouver; plays Sammy "the Voice" in Pizza with Bullets, a comedy film about an aging mob boss that will be released in December 2012.
David Anders, Cast (Dr. Frankenstein/Dr. Whale) - plays Timothy Longshanks in Neighbors, a short comedy film competition and one-upmanship between neighbors that will be released in September 2012; plays Obi Scott in The Unknown Son, a mystery film that will be released in the winter of 2012 about a young man who uncovers a massive plot within a U.S. company. Ander has also been cast as a guest star in a forthcoming episode of Arrow.
Lee Arenberg, Cast (Leroy/Grumpy) - will play Charlie's boss in 2013 in Californication, a Showtime drama/comedy TV series about a troubled novelist with writer's block and his relationships with his girlfriend and daughter.
Eion Bailey will play the male lead in Trooper, a drama TV pilot that will air on TNT in 2013 about a mother who becomes a New York State trooper; is the creator of Imagine This!, an open-source TV series about challenges and solutions in communities around the world.
Emilie de Ravin will play Romero on a TV miniseries Air Force One is Down (2013) and is working on an Australian movie The 34th Battalion (2013)
Kristin Bauer van Straten, Cast (Maleficent) - plays Pam De Beaufort in True Blood, an HBO supernatural drama about the co-existence of vampires and humans in a fictional town in Louisiana; plays the mother of a teenager in a video featuring a remix of the Slash song "Gotten", which can be downloaded to benefit the Los Angeles Youth Network; is filming the documentary.
Noah Bean, Cast (Daniel) - stars in The Break-Up Tour, a short comedy film about a tourist couple who take a bizarre tour of Greenwich Village in New York City that premiered in June 2012 at Tropfest New York and can be viewed on Tropfest’s YouTube channel; plays Ryan Fletcher in Nikita, an action series on the CW TV network about a woman who escaped from a secret government-funded organization and, after a three-year hiding period, is back to bring down the organization; plays Tom in Ex-Girlfriends, a comedy film released in November 2012 about three New Yorkers struggling to uncover the truth behind their romantic entanglements.
Sarah Bolger, Cast (Princess Aurora) - will play Lucy Diamond in As Cool as I Am, a comedy film scheduled to be released in 2013 about a smart teenage girl who comes of age in a small town with her self-centered parents who had her when they were teenagers; will play Pamela in Starbright, a fantasy film that will be released in December 2013 about a young orphan who escapes the realities of her life by fantasizing about and entering a fairy tale world.
Robert Carlyle, Cast (Mr. Gold/Rumpelstilskin) - plays Lachlan MacAldonich in California Solo, a drama film that will be released in November 2012 about a former Britpop rocker who has settled in farm country outside Los Angeles; is an ambassador for With Kids, a charity helping vulnerable children and families in Glasgow; is a patron of the School for Life, which provides life experiences and opportunities to orphaned children and young adults in Romania, and the Edinburgh International Film Festival.
Emma Caulfield, Cast (Blind Witch in True North) - plays Smiley in season 2 of Leap Year, a web-only series about a group of friends who start their own business after losing their jobs; plays the Stadium Interviewer in Husbands, a web-only series about marriage equality.
Jamie Chung, Cast (Mulan) - plays Nima in Premium Rush, an action film currently in theaters about a bike messenger who is pursued throughout New York City by a dirty cop; will play Kirsten in the film Knife Fight, a political thriller film released in November 2012; will play Lady Silk in The Man with the Iron Fists, an action film released in November 2012 about a blacksmith who makes weapons for a small village in feudal China; plays the title role in Eden, a film about a young girl who is abducted by human traffickers; will play Lauren in The Hangover III, a comedy film that will be released in May 2013 about a trio of friends on a road trip; will play Suzy Lee in 7500, a horror film that will be released in 2013 about passengers on an overnight flight who encounter what appears to be a supernatural force in the cabin; will play Miho in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, an action film that will be released in October 2013.
Mike Coleman, Cast (Happy) - artistic director and coach at the Vancouver Acting School, which offers classes, workshops, intensives, and demo services.
Keegan Connor Tracy, Cast (Blue Fairy/Mother Superior) - will play Miss Watson in Bates Motel, a horror TV series about how Norman Bates’ psyche developed during his childhood and teen years scheduled to air on A&E in 2013.
Alan Dale, Cast (King George/Albert Spencer) - is the voice of Henry Lawson in Mass Effect 3, an action video game that was released in March 2012.
Josh Dallas, Cast (Prince Charming/David Nolan) - plays Tom Wisher in Trigger Point, a web-only series about a CIA agent who is betrayed by his corrupt handler while on an undercover mission to rescue a hostage.
Jakob Davies, Cast (Pinocchio) - plays David in The Tall Man, a horror film released in September 2012 about a mysterious dark figure who steals children; will play Layton in The Young and Prodigious Spivet, a film about a young cartographer enthusiast who travels across the United States to visit the Smithsonian Museum that will be released in October 2013.
Emilie De Ravin, Cast (Belle) - will play Romero on a TV miniseries Air Force One is Down (2013) and is working on an Australian movie The 34th Battalion (2013)
Faustino Di Bauda, Cast (Sleepy/Walter) - will play the innkeeper in The Seventh Son, a fantasy film that will be released in October 2013 about a young man who is imprisoned to a knight so he can learn to fight evil spirits.
Jamie Dornan, Cast (Sheriff Graham/The Huntsman) - will play Paul Spector in The Fall, a BBC 2 psychological drama series airing in late 2012 or early 2013 that forensically examines the lives of two hunters.
Conner Dwelly, Cast (Morraine) - will play Frankie in The Ferret Squad, a family film that will be released in March 2013 about a group of quirky kids who spend their days rescuing and fostering abandoned ferrets in California.
Jane Espenson, Consulting Producer - executive producer and co-creator of Husbands, a web-only series about marriage equality.
Giancarlo Esposito, Cast (Sidney Glass/The Genie) - plays Daramus Holiday in Alex Cross, a thriller film that was released in October 2012 about a detective who vows to track down the killer of a family member; plays Captain Neville in Revolution, a science fiction TV series on NBC about a post-apocalyptic future 15 years after all advanced technology is disabled around the world; will play Thomas Harris in Adele, a psychological thriller scheduled to be released in 2014 that shifts back and forth in time and perspective; is the founder, executive producer, director, and screenwriter of Quiet Hand Productions, which produces socially conscious and spiritually uplifting films, TV, and documentary projects.
Chris Gauthier, Cast (William Smee) - plays Stevie in Hitched for the Holidays, a romance film that will premiere on the Hallmark TV channel in November 2012 about two people who agree to be each other’s supposed significant other throughout the holidays to keep their meddling families at bay; plays Doc Jay Dang in Health Nutz, a comedy TV series airing on Canada’s APTN network about a professional golfer suspended from the pro circuit for disorderly behavior.
Jared Gilmore, Cast (Henry Mills) - is helping raise funds for Hope for Mushu to provide life-saving veterinary care for a young horse in El Cajon, California, who has a rare life-threatening medical condition. Mushu lives at Rocking Horse Ranch, which provides therapeutic, personal growth, team building, leadership, and educational programs utilizing Equine-Assisted Learning and Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy.
Annabeth Gish, Cast (Anita) - plays Anne Sullivan in Pretty Little Liars, a TV series currently airing on ABC Family about four friends who band together against an anonymous foe who threatens to reveal their secrets; will play Maddie Stewart in A Mother’s Nightmare, a mystery film about a mother who tries to protect her son from his manipulative girlfriend airing in December 2012 on the Lifetime TV channel.
Ginnifer Goodwin, Cast (Mary Margaret Blanchard/Snow White) - plays Jean Marie St. Cloud in Electric City, an animated web-only series about the future of civilization featuring themes such as energy consumption, freedom of information, and crime and punishment; member of the Young Hollywood Board of the Environmental Media Association, a non-profit organization that educates the public on environmental issues and sustainable lifestyles.
Anastasia Griffith, Cast (Abigail/Kathryn Nolan) - plays Elizabeth Haverford in Copper, a BBC America drama series about the aftermath of the U.S. Civil War; is a patron of International Childcare Trust, an organization that helps protect children's rights in Africa and Asia, and is cycling the Nepalese Himalayan foothills in November 2012 to help raise money for ICT.
David-Paul Grove, Cast (Doc) - will play Murray in Down River, a film that will be released in December 2012 about three women who are inspired to new heights by a charismatic older woman who lives in their building.
Geoff Gustafson, Cast (Stealthy) - will play Jim in It's Christmas, Carol!, a fantasy film premiering in November 2012 on the Hallmark TV channel about a heartless publishing executive who is visited by the ghost of her former boss; plays Ken Leeds in Primeval: New World, a science fiction TV series about a team of animal experts that investigates anomalies and battles both prehistoric and futuristic creatures; is a coach at the Vancouver Acting School, which offers classes, workshops, intensives, and demo services.
Florian Halbedl, Assistant Director - directing Whispers of Life, a dramatic short film that refocuses attention on queer youth suicide, and is an assistant director on Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, a science fiction film that will be released in August 2013.
C. Ernst Harth, Cast (Ogre and Burly Man that Rumple turns into a snail) - plays Suspect # 1 in Crowsnest, a horror film about five young friends on a road trip who go missing; will play the Heating Guy in A Christmas Story 2, a comedy film sequel to A Christmas Story that was released on DVD in October 2012; plays Daryl in Camera Shy, a comedy film released in November 2012 about a corrupt politician who believes a cameraman is filming his every move; will play Cary Rollins in The P.I. Experiment, a comedy film scheduled to be released in 2013 about two hip young filmmakers making a web-series about misfit private investigators.
Adam Horowitz, Executive Producer - consulting producer of Tron: Uprising, a science fiction animated TV series currently airing on the Disney XD channel.
Jesse Hutch, Cast (Peter) - plays Johnny Garcia in True Justice, a Reelz TV series about undercover police officers.
Jeffrey Kaiser, Cast (Dopey) - planning to produce Working Class Heroes, a film about blue collar workers set in British Columbia scheduled to be released in the winter of 2012; will play Jackson Bush in The P.I. Experiment, a comedy film scheduled to be released in 2013 about two hip young filmmakers making a web-series about misfit private investigators.
Eddy Kitsis, Executive Producer - Consulting Producer of Tron: Uprising, a science fiction animated TV series currently airing on Disney XD.
Mig Macario, Cast (Bashful) - will play Dr. Hui in “Dangerous Cargo,” a 2013 episode of the CBC drama series Arctic Air about renegade bush pilots at work and play in Canada’s north.
Bailee Madison, Cast (Young Snow White) - plays Ida Clayton in Cowboys N' Angels, a family film about a group of rodeo trick-riders who recruit a young girl to join them; will play Harper Decker Simmons in Parental Guidance, a comedy film that will be released in December 2012 about a grandfather who takes care of his three grandchildren after his daughter goes away for work; will play Bailee in the June 2013 “Rock the Cradle” episode of Holliston, a horror comedy series on FEARnet about two aspiring filmmakers who attempt to make it out of the small New England town where they are trapped; is a spokesperson and helps raise funds for Alex's Lemonade Stand, a foundation that raises money to help find a cure for childhood cancer; is an ambassador for Starlight Children’s Foundation, which helps improve the quality of life for children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses and life-altering illnesses by providing entertainment, education, and family activities that help them cope with the pain, fear, and isolation of prolonged illness.
Julian Morris, Cast (Prince Philip) - plays Wren Kingston in Pretty Little Liars, a TV series currently airing on ABC Family about four friends who band together against an anonymous foe who threatens to reveal their secrets; will play Ryan in Something Wicked, a thriller film that will be released in December 2012 about a young couple whose gruesome secrets from the past collide with sinister forces of the present.
Jennifer Morrison, Cast (Emma Swan) - plays Angela in the film Knife Fight, a political thriller film being released in November 2012; plays Agent Rachel Mintz in the film Stars in Shorts, a collection of short films with some of the world’s biggest actors available on iTunes and on video on demand.
Colin O’Donoghue, Cast (Captain Hook) - plays Mark in Storage 24, a horror film that was released in June 2012 about a mystery predator hunting down a group of friends in London after the crash of a military cargo plane; is a founding member of the music band The Enemies.
Tim Phillips, Cast (Prince Thomas/Sean Herman) - will be the voice of Dante in DmC: Devil May Cry, an action video game about the child of a demon and an angel that will be released in January 2013.
Craig Powell, Camera Operator - filming Whispers of Life, a dramatic short film that refocuses attention on queer youth suicide.
Michael Raymond-James, Cast (Neal Cassidy) - will play Linsky in Jack Reacher, a crime film that will be released in December 2012 about a homicide investigator who digs deeper into a case involving a trained military sniper.
Gabrielle Rose, Cast (Ruth) - will play Agnes Brooking in Anything But Christmas, a family film about a single mother whose favorite holiday is Christmas who is trying to build a life with a man who “doesn’t do Christmas” that will air on ION TV channels in December 2012; will play Olivia/Belva in The Ferret Squad, a family film that will be released in March 2013 about a group of quirky kids who spend their days rescuing and fostering abandoned ferrets in California.
Raphael Sbarge, Cast (Archie Hopper/Jiminy Cricket) - founder of Green Wish, a non-profit organization that helps local green organizations fund projects in their communities; is the voice of Kaidan Alenko in Mass Effect 3, an action video game that was released in March 2012; producer of On Begley Street, a web-only series that explores that building of North America's most sustainable home; hosts an audioblog.
Richard Schiff, Cast (King Leopold) - plays Harold Gethers in Fire with Fire, a film released in August 2012 about a fireman who is threatened by a man he has been ordered to testify against; plays Harper Dearing in NCIS, a CBS TV series about the Naval Crime Investigative Service’s cases; plays Dr. Marc Shulman in The Mindy Project, a Fox TV series about a successful woman who needs to break bad habits in her personal life; plays Dimitiris in Knife Fight, a political thriller film released in November 2012; will play Dr. Emil Hamilton in Man of Steel, a superhero film about Superman that will be released in June 2013.
Dylan Schmid, Cast (Baelfire) - will play D.J. in The Ferret Squad, a family film that will be released in March 2013 about a group of quirky kids who spend their days rescuing and fostering abandoned ferrets in California.
Jessy Schram, Cast (Ashley/Cinderella) - plays Karen Nadler in Falling Skies, a TNT science fiction TV series about the aftermath of a global invasion by extraterrestrials; plays Christine Kendal in Last Resort, an action ABC drama TV series about a renegade submarine crew.
Sebastian Stan, Cast (Jefferson/Mad Hatter ) - plays Will in Labyrinth, a TV mini-series set in both modern and medieval France and follows two women’s search for the Holy Grail that airing across European TV stations in 2012; will play Jimmy in Over the Wall, a thriller about the boundaries of true love after one tragic event rips apart the lives of four closely intertwined people that is scheduled to be released in 2013; will play James Buchanan “Bucky” Barnes/The Winter Soldier in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, an adventure film about Captain America’s struggles to embrace his role in the modern world that will be released in April 2014. Sebastian can also currently be found starring in the Broadway play, "Picnic"
Ingrid Torrance, Cast (Severe Nurse) - is the author of the book Act!: A Step by Step Guide to Starting Your Acting Career; is an acting coach and teacher.
