Despite having to cancel his BAFTA interview on Sunday, fans will be pleased to know that Robert Carlyle was able to attend the screening of California Solo this evening and looked on fine form after his recent operation.

Due to ill health Robert Carlyle will be unable to attend the In-Person event that was planned for Edinburgh Film Festival.

It's been confirmed that Hollywood actor, Robert Carlyle, best known for roles in movies like The Full Monty, Formula 51 and 28 Weeks Later, will be returning to play the lead character of Gabriel Belmont in Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2.

Just to let you all know that Robert Carlyle will be appearing at the Edinburgh Film Festival during late June.

According to his tweets, he will be doing the rounds for the Bafta interviews on either the 25th or 26th June and attending a screening of California Solo and a Question & Answer session on the 28th June.

This DVD set cannot come soon enough! I can hear the fan girl/boy screams from all over the world.
