Robin Link's Speculations for Season 2

Posted by Once Upon A Fan on July 21, 2012 at 2:35 PM

"Jack" is not Bae and is Henry's father:

Being Jack, he “beaned” to the Land Without Magic before the curse was enacted, met Emma and badda bing! Perhaps Jack saved a bean that “Blue” didn’t know about?

Bae is Bae:

I speculate this because too many fans like Dylan Schmid as Bae and the drama of Rumple having to deal with Belle and a 14 year old Bae who pops out of the vortex after the curse has been broken has so many possibilities for a Rumple redemption. Rumple *has* to deal with his past. Plus Carlyle likes working with Dylan.

Dr. Whale is Peter Pan:

Somehow, Peter Pan ended up in FTL when the curse was enacted by Regina (Hook’s hook shows up in Gold’s shop, and where Hook goes, Peter is not far behind).

Whale has this pained look on his face in 1x22 after the curse is broken and “Blue” is looking at him with sorrow. Peter was caught by the curse and grew up? He’s the only doctor in town and people depend on him - does he just abandon that responsibility to revert back to being a child? Think of the drama possibilities!

Kitsis said in the 2012 Comic Con interview that Peter Pan Pan was his favorite fairy tale. David Anders would make a perfect Peter Pan, grown up. Also Storybrooke’s Dr. Whale’s preoccupation with Ruby is like a teenager with a crush. He is a professional when dealing with people who need help and emotionally a teenager when dealing with relationships.

I agree that Bae is just Bae, but I don't think Jack is Henry's dad. I think Henry's dad wrote or put together the book. I don't know about Dr Whale as Peter Pan though.

I agree with you, Mary - I think Henry's dad is the one who wrote/put the book together.

If Henry's dad put the book together, then how did Mary Margaret get her hands on it?

Like the Bae is Bae. There could be real family drama, and he could buddy up with Henry and Grace.

I'm starting to think Bae may just be Bae too. It seems like a lot of hassle for Rumple to go through to reunite with a son who is now an adult. However, I'm not totally abandoning the idea of him being Henry's dad, since Rumple thought for a bit that August was Bae, which opens up the possibility that he is an adult now.

As for Dr. Whale, I agree with the possibility of him being Peter Pan. He would make an awesome Peter. Plus there are a million reason why he grew up.

If Bae is still 14ish, then Jack as Henry's dad does makes sense.

If he put the book together, he knew that Snow/Mary Margaret was Emma's mother and the one that Emma was most likely to find and become close to in Storybrooke. Charming was out of the question as he was in a coma.

I think, Bae is much older, and can be Henry's father. But if showed up later maybe only a few months before the curse broke up, he's just 14 years old. But we will see it in Season Two.
But there's a possibility, like kandice31 said, because Rumple thought that August is Bae. So maybe Bae is an adult, so he can be Henry's father. Maybe Bae knew August, so they might have been writting the book together.

August couldnt have written the book because then he would have already put in the pinnochio story but he added that later

I've been rewatching the series on Netflix (Netflix is making a comeback!) and I watched the episode in which Baefire leaves. I know a lot of people have been speculating about him being Jack, but you have to remember that there were other beans that were lost. No, I'e got to thinking:
Baelfire is the Wizard of Oz.
He may not be in Oz eaxactly, maybe, like, Kansas or something, but it seems a good possibility. When the vortex opens, Rumple states that it looks like a Tornado; it's also green. The Wizard of Oz technically doesn't hold any magic, and has said that he was once a normal person before he was "blown away to Oz". He also has an affinity for making a deal to get something he wants (the witch's broom) before giving up something. The people of Oz hold disdain for dark magic, and seem to like Glinda that Good Witch much better.
It may be a stretch, but some of it seems to hold water.
