Season 2 Speculation

Last week brought an overdose of OUAT mania with the announcement of new cast members, a premiere date and hundreds of filming shots all over the internet from the crews first week back on set. However amidst the photos of war torn Storybrooke that spread faster than light, an intriguing puzzle emerged. 


Just what has happened to Emma and Snow? Not a single shot of Jennifer and Ginny has turned up so far. It's something that has got the fans abuzz online with plenty of speculation on their whereabouts. 


YVR Shoots offered up this information regarding the whereabout of Emma and Snow in light of shots emerging showing Charming chasing Jefferson down the main street of Storybrooke:

 

“Why is Charming running after the Mad hatter? It seems the Mad Hatter knows something about the whereabouts of Ginnifer Goodwin’s Snow White and Jennifer Morrison’s Emma Swan, who are nowhere to be seen in Storybrooke. What’s happened to them? We’ll have to wait until season two begins airing to find out”. - YVR Shoots



 

This fits with what we have been hearing about most of Jennifer and Ginny’s scenes being filmed indoors on green screen. We know they have filmed together because they said they got soaked during filming on Twitter.


We have had a feeling they may have disappeared from Storybrooke for a while now. It's a perfect way to keep the Charming/Snow love story going and explains why Henry is with Charming in some of the filming shots. We know these writers love to rip characters apart. Think Sun/Jin in Lost and we may get an idea of where the Snow/Charming story could be heading this season. Jefferson's mysterious hat has already been spotted in Storybrooke. Could Emma and Snow have taken a trip down the rabbit hole? Or has the magic Gold unleashed at the end of last season whisked them away to a far off land?



Do you think the writers are planning to tear Snow and Charming apart again? Will Emma have to battle her way through different realms to get back to Storybrooke and be reunited with Henry?

A new piece to this growing puzzle has emerged. Just why is David wearing the Sheriff badge in recent set photos? Has he taken control of Storybrooke in Emma's absence? The intrigue grows!! We called it weeks ago. Emma and Snow are in another realm!




Keep in mind that the premiere was filmed second, and pictures of Emma & Snow in Storybrooke have been seen online from that premiere episode. So something may happen to Emma and Snow at the end of the premiere, explaining why no further shots of them have shown up in Storybrooke.

I hope not, in this season I'm expecting to see more of the other worlds but not like that, but it is highly probable since charming is purseuing the Mad Hatter, maybe because Regina sent them off somewhere else, she still does'nt want Happy Endings. And by the fact that showed Henry hovering on Regina's window maybe he was asking about Snow and Emma track.

And what about all of this destruction ? Cars turn over, buiding work everywhere, maybe it has something to do whit a war ?

I don't know about keeping them apart, because that could easily become a rehash of last season and I don't think I'm alone when I say I can't stand any more drama between the two of them for right now. No, I think we're looking at a different kind of drama. People are going to be busy trying to figure out what's going on, and how to stop Regina. And they're going to have to come to terms with things they did in their Storybrooke lives that they may not be proud of. I have a feeling that Snow and Emma are together because Emma is going to have to do more as the Savior before it's all over. She's also missed 28 years with her mother, perhaps they were whisked away someplace they need to be at the moment to straighten some things out. But I doubt it's anything bad. At least they're together.

If the Well returns what was lost it makes sense that Snow and Emma are together. Also fits my theory of Emma somehow going to Wonderland and becoming the Queen of Hearts. To say the least We Shall See!

This makes perfect sense. I have also been wondering where Snow and Emma have been in the pictures. I actually think this is a great idea. This show focuses a lot on the mother/child relationship, so this will give them an opportunity to get the angst out of their system. It also gives Charming a chance to show his leadership qualities.

While I would love to see a more complete reunion between Snow and Charming immediately, I far prefer that they are separated by distance, rather than the direction they went last season. Taking a page from Rumbelle (truly in love, but separated--he thought she was dead, she was locked up) this could really spice Snowing up. The reunion between Jinn and Sun was one of the most romantic and sastisfying scenes in the entire show. Can you imagine the awesomeness of the reunion with Snow and Charming?

I believe I remember Adam & Edward stating in an interview earlier this summer that Snow & Charming were definitely going to be together, this season. I hope they somehow figure out a way for Emma & Jefferson to end up together (crazy I know). I just can't wait to see the family dynamic between Snow/Charming/Emma/Henry. Rumple & Belle will probably have some soap opera type issues since he chose to have power again and brought magic back! And I have this crazy theory that Alice could have been Jefferson's wife/Paige's mother or at least I hope so!

I've noticed Snow, Emma, and Belle missing. It would be interesting if Snow and Emma wound up somewhere else, but hopefully just temporary. Don't know about Belle though. Unless she is staying out of Regina's sight.

Rumor has it on other boards I visit that they may be filming episodes out of order and some of the photos that have been out there are actually of episode two. Jen was also quoted in a recent interview saying that she was in almost all the scenes of the first episode but only in like four scenes of the second episode. This would fit with the photos that have been floating around for the last week too. I can't wait to find out more and for season two to finally get here! =)

Just thinking maybe Mulan and Lancelot aren't even in SB they are in their own respective worlds. Snow and Emma will perhaps encounter them.

They are now filming the premiere. They filmed episode 2 first for some reason so whatever happens to Emma and Snow must occur in first episode.

No matter where they are, Charming isn't going to be happy when he learns that Hatter kidnapped Snow and tied up Emma. I'm not sure why Emma or Snow would approach him, except maybe that Emma feels bad now that she knows that his curse is legit.

I'm thinking that all of the damage has to do with the breaking of the curse. (My first thought was that the Swan station imploded again. Lol.) If this is true, then maybe Snow and Emma left to see if Fairytale Land was also somehow affected.

I think if you were from FTL it took you. Plus Regina did trap him in his house till Emma arrived. Just as he was trapped in Wonderland. Emma kept the hat. J said she has Magic. We saw her realize that magic in the finale. IT COULD BE ALSO WHY CHARMING AND JEFFERSON HAVE SO MANY SCENES. It would be kinda of funny if Bae is Henry father that he arrives while Emma is gone. ALSO, we saw Blue,Whale and Marco in the woods. Im thinking search party. It fits considering Emma wasn't there to tell him about August (the pic of him holding a drawing of P as a boy). Henry probably tells Marco who he is.

I have been speculating that Emma and Snow may encounter Mulan /Supra/ Phillip not in Storybrooke but in the other relams. Also that Milha is Rumples wife, ans maybe Hook is Bae's father. Awkwardly tragic for Rumple. Im also curious to see if Henry's father will be drawn to SB since the Well Waters return lost things. Giving them time to bond while Emma is MIA.

Is that the sheriff's badge or deputy? Emma's deputy badge hooked to her jeans, but when Graham was sheriff his badge pinned to his vest. Emma's did too, but it could have switched to hooked to her pants. If that makes sense...

SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE INTERVIEW WITH EDWARD KITSIS AND ADAM HOROWITZ'S INTERVIEW!!!




So, linking with the recent interview with the creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz's comment on Regina and Rumpel's meeting (that it would be revealed in the first couple/several episodes of the second season how they actually met):
The quote: "No-one comes to me without a deal in mind." (Or something very similar) Has come into my mind with two different theories.
Firstly: Regina's mum mentions the 'deals she had to make' to get her to where they are - did that involve her getting her magic? Or perhaps a different kind of deal when Regina was younger?
OR
Secondly: Perhaps after being soooo badly mistreated and then having Daniel torn away from her; Regina decided it would be better to get rid of her mother or punish her or something like that and therefore meeting Rumpel for the first time. Or perhaps getting her magic, as she did go to him for the curse... for although it may have been hereditary she certainly doesn't have any defence against her mother in the episode Stable Boy; and seems genuinely scared of her mother's powers when she's confiding in David - her fears for their relationship.
