King George's Revenge by Gareth Hughes

Posted by Gareth on May 15, 2012 at 7:30 PM

With regards Snow's proposal to "take back the kingdom", I feel we will see those events unfold in season two.

I think the reason King George/D.A Spencer is in Storybrooke and not a character who was killed off, is to provide Regina with a mighty ally in season two.

Spencer will now have his memories of what Snow and Charming did to him back in FTL. He will be out for blood and will turn to Regina for support in overthrowing them once and for all.

Season two will focus on revenge. FTL stories will follow the events leading to King George and the Queen's ultimate downfall, while the Storybrooke focus will parallel FTL with Regina and Spencer joining forces.

Sounds like trouble for the Charmings. :)

And obviously Rumplestiltskin in Storybrooke would be fighting against Regina, but would he unite with Snow and Charming to do it, or would he mount his own offensive. Will be interesting to see!

Things are going to get a bit messy in Storybrooke. Can't wait for season 2!

I think it will be more focused on getting back what was lost, with revenge perhaps being one element within that theme. Forgiveness might be another element.

Edited to add: G, I really like your idea on Regina and Spencer teaming up in Storybrooke. Alan Dale is great in that role. Then we would have Regina and Spencer vs Emma, Charming and Snow with Gold!Rumple moving every which way across the board . I just *so* hope the "new" Storybrooke Emma gets to encounter FTL!Rumple (Gold morphs into FTL!Rumple, with leather/feather ensemble! Can't see FTL!Rumple in a suit)

That's a great plot! I definitely think we'll see some of what you're talking about.
